Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, conveyed a heartfelt message from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the brotherly people of Sudan.
He explained that the message reflects a clear stance from President El-Sisi toward Sudan, emphasizing that Egypt will always stand by the Sudanese people. He added that Egypt deeply feels Sudan’s pain and grieves for what it is going through, stressing that Egypt’s support for the Sudanese people will continue in order to safeguard their resources and confront any systematic destruction.

The minister reaffirmed that Egypt has always been Sudan’s strategic depth, noting that Sudanese citizens residing in Egypt enjoy great care and attention from President El-Sisi and the Egyptian state.
He also stated that the Egyptian government is keen on providing full support to the Sudanese community living in Egypt, including access to education, healthcare, and other essential services. He described this as both a duty and a moral responsibility rooted in the deep bonds of kinship and historical ties between the two nations.
Dr. Abdelatty expressed his solidarity with the Sudanese people as they endure difficult circumstances and major challenges due to the unstable internal situation in the country. He also highlighted Egypt’s ongoing efforts to deliver continuous assistance to Sudan, including the dispatch of medical equipment shipments to support hospitals and the deployment of specialized teams to assess damage to critical infrastructure such as key bridges and power stations in Khartoum. He confirmed that repair and rehabilitation operations for these facilities have already begun.
