President El-Sisi Meets with the Supreme Council of Judicial Authorities on Egyptian Judiciary Day

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with members of the Supreme Council of Judicial Authorities in the presence of Counselor Adnan Fangary, Minister of Justice.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, explained that the President began the meeting by extending his congratulations to Egypt’s judges on the occasion of Egyptian Judiciary Day, affirming his deep appreciation for the role of judicial authorities in upholding constitutional principles, strengthening the rule of law, and protecting citizens’ rights. He emphasized the importance of these efforts in achieving justice, stability, and social peace.

President El-Sisi reaffirmed the state’s firm commitment to the independence of the judiciary and non-interference in its affairs, with the goal of ensuring swift justice and reinforcing the rule of law to help safeguard the stability of the nation.

For his part, Counselor Adnan Fangary expressed his gratitude for the support that the judicial system has received under President El-Sisi’s leadership. He reviewed ongoing efforts to accelerate case resolution and to modernize technological infrastructure across various judicial bodies.

During the meeting, members of the Supreme Council stressed their determination to continue working to consolidate justice and equality, highlighting the judiciary’s vital role in protecting society. They also praised the President’s continuous support in preserving the judiciary’s stature and enhancing its efficiency.

The meeting was attended by a number of leading judicial figures, including Counselor Boulos Fahmy Eskandar, President of the Supreme Constitutional Court; Counselor Assem Abdel Latif El-Said, President of the Court of Cassation and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council; Counselor Osama Youssef Shalaby, President of the State Council; in addition to senior officials from the Public Prosecution and the Military Judiciary.
