President El-Sisi Congratulates Burundi and the Vatican on Independence and National Day Anniversaries

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a congratulatory cable to President Évariste Ndayishimiye of the Republic of Burundi on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day celebration. In addition, he assigned Mohamed Atef Abdel Hamid, Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic, to visit the Embassy of Burundi in Cairo to extend his congratulations.

Furthermore, President El-Sisi sent a similar congratulatory message to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and Head of the Vatican City State, on the occasion of the Vatican’s National Day. He also delegated Hossam Zaatar, Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic, to visit the Apostolic Nunciature (Embassy of the Vatican) in Cairo to offer official greetings.
