n a significant achievement, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, represented by the Social Housing Fund and Real Estate Financing Support Fund, has launched the fifth phase of the Presidential Initiative “Skan Li Kol El-Masryeen” (Housing for All Egyptians). This initiative, following the directions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, aims to provide decent and humane housing for every Egyptian citizen.
The new offering includes over 78,000 housing units available across multiple governorates and new cities, with a variety of sizes and prices starting at EGP 400,000. The application process will be conducted online through the official website of the Social Housing Fund, with special access granted to citizens with disabilities starting today for one week. The general public will be able to begin applying from Tuesday, November 26, 2024, until December 24, 2024.

- Age Requirements: Applicants must be between 21 and 50 years old, allowing both youth and families the opportunity to apply for a unit in this large-scale social housing project.
- Income Requirements:
- Low-Income Applicants: Monthly net income should range from EGP 3,500 to EGP 15,000, or an annual income between EGP 42,000 to EGP 180,000 for families, and up to EGP 144,000 annually for individuals.
- Middle-Income Applicants: Monthly net income must be between EGP 12,000 and EGP 25,000, with annual incomes ranging from EGP 144,000 to EGP 300,000 for families, and up to EGP 240,000 annually for individuals.
Available Units:
- 239,058 Ready-to-Deliver Units: These are distributed across various governorates including Giza, Sharqia, Menoufia, Fayoum, Ismailia, Beheira, Matrouh, North Sinai, South Sinai, Beni Suef, Minya, Sohag, Qena, Assiut, Luxor, and Aswan.
- 12,990 Ready-to-Deliver Units in New Cities: These include units in cities such as New October, 10th of Ramadan, New Borg El Arab, Sadat City, Akhmim, New Sohag, New Minya, New Qena, West Qena, New Tiba, and New Aswan.
- Units to Be Delivered in 36 Months: Available for low-income applicants in new cities like Hadaeq El Asimah, 15 May, New October, Hadaeq October, 10th of Ramadan, New Borg El Arab, Sadat City, New Minya, and New Aswan.
This initiative is part of the government’s continued efforts to provide affordable housing solutions to all segments of society and is expected to have a significant impact on meeting the growing demand for residential units across Egypt.
