Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, announced the implementation of 6,994 housing units under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative in the Al-Nargis district of 10th of Ramadan City, with a completion rate of 90%. At the same time, work is being accelerated on projects in the new urban community of Hadayek Al-Ashar (10th of Ramadan Gardens).
During his inspection tour of the projects, the Minister emphasized the importance of on-site follow-up to remove obstacles, ensure compliance with standard specifications, and complete works within the set timelines. Engineer Alaa Mostafa, Head of the City Development Authority, inspected the units of the “Housing for All Egyptians” project in its fifth phase in Al-Nargis District. He explained that the project consists of 298 buildings with a total of 6,994 units, each with an area of 90 square meters, fully equipped with utilities.
The Head of the Authority inspected one of the units from the inside to ensure the quality of finishes and to follow up on the infrastructure works such as water, sewage, and road networks, in addition to site landscaping, interlock tile installation, greenery, and sidewalks. He also directed the intensification of tree planting around the project to provide shade and expedite the completion of remaining works.
In Hadayek Al-Ashar, Engineer Nader Zaafar, Head of the City Authority, inspected the implementation of housing units in phases five and six of the Presidential “Green Model” initiative. He stressed the importance of adhering to quality standards, project timelines, and occupational safety measures. He also followed up on the development of the administrative headquarters, installation of guiding signs, as well as road and lighting works.
Additionally, the Head of the Authority focused on the finishing works of the Citizens’ Service Building, improving the landscaping in front of the headquarters, and upgrading the concrete slabs across the site.
